Short Summary
Design and Aesthetics: Great built quality, and game-changing hopper which makes life so much easier! Available in four attractive colours, so I’m sure you’ll find the one you like.
Ease of Use: The integrated hopper with auto-cut function minimizes preparation time – simply place ingredients inside and let the H320N handle the rest. Among the most user-friendly juicers I’ve tested, requiring minimal supervision during operation.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Takes around 2-3 minutes to clean with easily disassemblable parts and an openable pulp channel. While efficient for its generation, newer models like the H400 are notably faster to clean (typically 1.5-2 minutes) thanks to its innovative multiscrew design.
Juicing Performance: Outstanding extraction capabilities with a 50 RPM squeezing screw and 17 RPM spinning brush system. Produces exceptionally clear juice with minimal oxidation and impressive yields across various ingredients.
Value for Money: With Hurom’s new 15-year warranty on motor and parts (as of September 2024), this juicer represents an excellent long-term investment. While the ice cream strainer isn’t included by default, it can be purchased separately. For those wanting the ice cream strainer included, the H330P offers identical performance with this addition.

Built quality
The H320N exemplifies Hurom’s commitment to durability and precision engineering. For purchases made from September 1st, 2024, Hurom offers a comprehensive 15-year warranty covering both the motor and all parts (excluding consumables such as silicone components and containers). This extended warranty reflects Hurom’s confidence in their technology and build quality, backed by over 50 years of industry experience.
As you handle and use the H320N, you’ll appreciate the robust construction of each component. The stability during operation and the solid feel of the materials demonstrate the careful attention to engineering and manufacturing quality.
There are two practical considerations to note:
- Total height with open hopper is approximately 63.5cm, which may require pulling the unit forward when used under kitchen cabinets
- All parts (including containers) require hand washing as they aren’t dishwasher-safe
Ease of Use
Ease of use is probably one of the most important features of every slow juicer, and cleaning Hurom H320N is fairly easy.
Wide Hopper
Using the H320N for juicing is pretty straightforward. It has a large hopper that’s 136mm wide and can hold up to 2L of produce. It can even take whole apples, oranges, and other fruits and veggies.
Because the hopper is big enough to fit your whole hand, the H320N has a built-in safety feature. The motor will automatically stop if the lid is open. It also won’t start unless the hopper lid is properly closed.
Pulp chanel can be opened
Even though the H320N is not part of the Easy series, it is quite easy to clean. For instance, you can open the pulp channel for easy and quick cleaning.
This is handy, especially when juicing celery, which can be tricky because it’s so fibrous.
In this video, you can see the whole process of cleaning the Hurom H320N. And you must agree that cleaning is fairly simple, right? 🙂
Testing Methodology
To ensure consistent and reliable results, I follow a standardized testing procedure for all juicers. Each test includes:
Standard test ingredients (500g each):
- Celery (cut into 4-5cm pieces)
- Beetroot (cut into 1.5×1.5cm pieces)
- Carrots (cut into 4cm pieces)
- Granny Smith apples (cored and split)
- Spinach (200g)
Testing Equipment:
- Decibel meter (positioned 15cm from juicer)
- Watt meter for power consumption
- 500ml measuring cups
- Cylindric measure tubes
- Ikea Riklig teapot strainer for standardized filtering
Juicing performance
I wanted to see how the Hurom H320N works with various ingredients, so I tested it with apples and celery. I used 1kg of it to see how much juice we’d get. I also looked at how long it took to juice it, and what the juice was like.
6.1. Apple Juicing Test
I started with washing the apples and cutting them into pieces. A big hopper inlet would allow me to even enter the whole apples but the seeds are poisonous so I decided to remove them. The hopper is so big that I almost fit a whole 1kg inside of the hopper.
Parameter | Hurom H320N |
---|---|
Juicing Time | 2min 30s |
Yield Weight (from 1kg) | 743g |
Yield percentage (from 1kg) | 74% |
Juice Quality (out of 5) | 5 |
As you can see in the attached video, the juice was clear enough to get 5/5 for juice quality. Yield was 74% which seems reasonable.
6.2. Celery Juicing Test
Washed the celery stalks and cut them into smaller pieces. I managed to fit nearly 1kg of celery into the hopper. After putting all the ingredients in, the H320N can work on its own, so it can save you time compared to other juicers.
Parameter | Hurom Chef GI | Hurom H320N |
---|---|---|
Juicing Time | 4min 20s | 3min 50s |
Yield Weight (from 1kg) | 814g | 760g |
Yield percentage (from 1kg) | 81% | 76% |
Juice Quality (out of 5) | 4 | 5 |
From 1kg of celery, I got 760g of juice. This means the juicer was able to extract about 76% of the weight as juice. For comparison, the Hurom GI (which is considered as best cold press juicer for celery and leafy greens) gave a little more juice, but the juice had more pulp in it.
I rated the juice as perfect, 5 out of 5 for its clear texture!

FAQ
Hurom H320N vs H330P
The H330P is essentially the same juicer as the H320N with a few cosmetic updates and one notable difference: it includes the ice cream strainer by default. Both models share identical performance, technical specifications (50 RPM, 2L hopper), and the new 15-year warranty. They differ only in color options, with the H330P coming in Charcoal, Deep Blue, and Ivory.
Hurom H320N vs H400?
While both are excellent juicers, the H400 introduces several innovations. Most notably, it features a new multiscrew design that eliminates the mesh strainer, making cleaning significantly faster (1.5-2 minutes vs 2-3 minutes for the H320N). The H400 runs at a higher speed of 90 RPM compared to the H320N’s 50 RPM, which can lead to slightly more oxidation. It also features a hidden pulp container design. Both models are covered by the same 15-year warranty.
Hurom H320N vs H310A
The H310A is Hurom’s more compact option, designed for smaller kitchens or those who travel with their juicer. While it produces similar juice yields, it requires more preparation as ingredients need to be cut into smaller pieces due to its smaller feeding tube. The H320N, with its 136mm chute, processes ingredients faster and produces clearer juice, though the H310A does run more quietly.

Hurom H320N vs Nama J2
Except for branding and accessories, these two juicers are technically the same. Both of them have been produced by Hurom factory in South Korea and you can check their blog post about building Nama J1 in Hurom factory.
Both come with the 15-year warranty, so your choice might simply come down to price and availability in your region.
Hurom H320N vs Kuvings Auto 10
While both juicers utilize vertical slow juicing technology, it’s important to note that Hurom is the original pioneer of this technology, having developed the world’s first vertical screw juicer in 2005. In fact, Hurom recently won a significant patent infringement case against Kuvings (NUC) on Amazon’s U.S. platform, demonstrating their position as the original innovator in this space.
The H320N represents Hurom’s proven technology with over 50 years of industry experience. While the Kuvings Auto 10 appears to follow similar principles, I haven’t had the opportunity to test it directly against the H320N, so I can’t make specific performance comparisons. However, I can confidently speak to the H320N’s reliable performance, backed by its comprehensive 15-year warranty on both motor and parts.
