Since I own both of these juicers, it would be nice to make some comparison tests to see which one is better. I have decided to try with celery, carrot and beetroot. But why these 3 ingredients?
Celery is probably the most juiced vegetable at the moment and a lot of Medical Medium followers are starting the day with fresh celery juice. Carrot and beetroot are both hard to juice so I this is really testing these juicers’ limits.
The idea of this juicing test is to measure how much time each juicer needs, what was the juice yield and to compare the juice quality.
For the test, I used 500g of vegetables and I tried to cut them into equal parts.
Celery
H320N | H310A | |
Juicing Time | 2:45 | 5:16 |
Juice Yield | 340ml | 390ml |
Juice Qaulity | Clear | Pulppy |
For me, the winner is H320N. It is much faster and the juice is much clearer. Since celery juice is usually hard to drink until you get used to it, I suggest H320N. Why would you need more juice if you can’t drink it? 🙂
Carrot
H320N | H310A | |
Juicing Time | 1:46 | 5:34 |
Juice Yield | 230ml | 260ml |
Juice Quality | Clear | Pulppy |
Again, for me, the winner is H320N. It’s much faster and juicing seems so easy. Yes, the juice from H310A is a bit pulpier but this doesn’t bother me much as the celery juice. If you left out the pulp from H310A juice, the yield would probably be less than from H320N.
Beetroot
H320N | H310A | |
Juicing Time | 1:38 | 5:49 |
Juice Yield | 270ml | 330ml |
Juice Quality | Clear | Pulppy |
For this test, I’m surprised at how much more juice I was able to get from H310A. Yes, it is a bit pulpier but it’s not a big deal. However, the juicing experience with H320N was better. Hurom H310A is slower and at some moments I could hear some squeaky noise. I thought that the beetroot is too hard for it, but it managed to juice it. Again, the winner is H320N.
As explained above, Hurom H320N is a clear winner in this juicing battle. It is faster, it is more convenient due to the bigger hopper and it makes clear juices – which I like. On the other side, H310A is great if you have a small kitchen or if you are planning on moving it a lot.
If you haven’t already, make sure to check our reviews for H320N and H310A.
